NOV is seeking a Manager - Regional Sales, Rockies to lead sales growth and customer relationships across the United States in a full-time capacity. This is a home-based position where you'll establish sales strategy, manage distributor partnerships, and coordinate with internal teams to capture market opportunities.

About the Role

In this position, you'll own the sales performance and market development of your assigned Rockies territory. Working independently from a home office, you'll build comprehensive sales and profitability approaches tailored to individual projects and customer accounts, while maintaining accountability for regional revenue targets. Collaboration with manufacturing and construction divisions will be essential to ensure project requirements are understood and delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve sales revenue objectives for the Rockies region
  • Lead distributor and representative partnerships through regional sales initiatives and training seminars
  • Design customized sales strategies and profitability plans for specific projects and customer accounts
  • Coordinate cross-territory project needs with management and counterpart Regional Sales Managers
  • Provide technical education to distributors, representatives, contractors, and customers on product applications
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer facilities and construction projects to assess progress and satisfaction
  • Pursue new market segments, prospective customers, and qualified sales opportunities
  • Resolve product-related concerns by partnering with customers and distributors on solutions
  • Monitor competitive activity, including products, pricing, and market share developments; communicate findings to management
  • Maintain sales pipeline and opportunities within the company's CRM system
  • Manage contract negotiations and customer nondisclosure agreements for the region
  • Participate in and represent the company at industry trade shows
  • Deliver forecasting reports and analysis of distributor and representative performance and market trends

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background in sales
  • 5-10 years of industrial sales management experience with oil and gas customers
  • Self-directed work style suited to home-based office environments
  • Strong speaking and presentation abilities for group training and seminar settings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for reports, proposals, and business correspondence
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
  • Availability for domestic travel as job requirements dictate
  • Preferred: Knowledge of or experience with FRP composite materials and FRP composite tanks in oil and gas applications
  • Preferred: Background managing distributor relationships and channel networks
