Manager, Product – Marketing Technology

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Manager, Product - Marketing Technology. This is a player-coach role where you'll manage both products and people, leading a team responsible for complex marketing technology products. You'll drive long-term strategy while developing and coaching product practitioners on your team.

This is a full-time, remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the long-term product roadmap for marketing technology products as part of the broader business strategy
• Create compelling product strategies through analysis of personas, use cases, customer benefits, and value propositions
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to manage and prioritize product roadmaps and releases across multiple products
• Identify and track key performance indicators to monitor product health and drive measurable improvements
• Engage regularly with customers and users to uncover needs and translate them into tested product hypotheses
• Ensure product roadmaps fit within capacity constraints and are sequenced to maximize customer value
• Facilitate coaching conversations with product teams and stakeholders to address gaps and drive improvements
• Research industry best practices and trends in marketing technology to increase team effectiveness
• Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing product team (typically 1-4 direct reports)
• Collaborate across product teams to develop and execute operational plans

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of relevant business experience, including product manager or product owner roles
• Understanding of iterative development and software development processes
• Expertise in Agile Product Management principles, stakeholder management, market research, and technology management
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Passion for new technology and emerging trends
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all organizational levels
• Strong facilitation and executive communication abilities

Preferred:

• Certified Product Manager or similar certification
• Prior supervisory experience
• Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
• Experience developing and delivering product strategy with compelling metrics
• Expertise with product management tools across discovery, design, build, release, and measurement cycles
• Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams in complex organizations
• Demonstrated experience with user interface design and usability best practices
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Financial management skills to administer budgets and ensure ROI requirements
