About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential consumer goods organization in their search for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to lead core planning and forecasting cycles while modernizing how finance operates in a scaling business.
As the successful candidate, you will own annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly reforecasts, and serve as the connective tissue between corporate FP&A and operational teams. You'll translate financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance, not just report on it.
Responsibilities
- Run monthly and quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts, validating assumptions and driving accountability across business partners and cost center owners
- Deliver management reporting that gives leadership a timely, accurate view of business performance against key metrics
- Lead variance analysis that isolates operational drivers behind results, separating volume, mix, timing, and rate impacts
- Conduct margin and mix analysis to surface what's driving Gross Profit and EBITDA performance
- Track risks and opportunities across the business, running scenario analysis to quantify exposure and upside
- Drive the annual planning process, maintaining and improving the forecast model in Pigment
- Own KPI definitions and consistent reporting for Executive Business Reviews
- Design and build automated workflows that reduce manual work and improve speed and accuracy of financial reporting
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations Finance, Commercial Finance, and BI/Analytics to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis
- Strong systems thinking with ability to design scalable models and workflows in Pigment and beyond
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and understanding of when a spreadsheet is the wrong tool
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude CoWork) to build repeatable workflows and speed up reporting and analysis
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with proven ability to translate data into clear insights
- Hands-on experience with an EPM/FP&A platform; Pigment experience a plus
- Consumer packaged goods industry experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and make decisions requiring high level of judgment
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for company and department meetings
- Must reside in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
