Maintenance Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating advanced fulfillment operations in the Berlin/Brandenburg area. As Maintenance Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will take strategic ownership of equipment performance and process development at a cutting-edge hybrid facility in Falkensee.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead the maintenance function day-to-day, coaching engineers and supervisors to meet equipment availability targets through indirect leadership
• Define and execute the long-term performance roadmap, owning strategic KPIs across safety, quality, throughput, and operational efficiency
• Drive site-wide Kaizen initiatives, Lean methodologies, and root-cause analyses to embed a culture of continuous improvement
• Analyze complex operational and maintenance workflows using data to eliminate bottlenecks and boost system reliability
• Act as the strategic bridge between maintenance teams, suppliers, planning, analysts, and operations to ensure seamless end-to-end flow
• Oversee adherence to safety standards, 5S principles, and operational best practices across the site
• Serve as the key interface between automated material handling equipment and manual processes within the facility

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, operational strategy, continuous improvement, or process engineering
• Strong interest in or exposure to automation, robotics, and facility maintenance systems
• Proven track record applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen frameworks in high-volume automated environments
• High analytical proficiency with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, or SQL
• Strategic mindset with ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive high-level initiatives
• Fluency in English required; German is a strong advantage
