About This Position
As a Machine Operator with Foxfactory, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial machinery on the production floor in Coldwater. This is a hands-on role in a full-time position where attention to detail, safety awareness, and mechanical aptitude are essential. You'll work with various equipment types, monitor production processes, and contribute to maintaining the quality standards that define our manufacturing operations in Michigan.
What You'll Do
- Operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other manufacturing equipment according to established specifications and procedures
- Monitor production runs and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Measure finished parts and components using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area on the production floor
- Report equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams to address problems promptly
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating manufacturing equipment or willingness to learn on the job
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
