Locum Physician (MD/DO) – Obstetrics and Gynecology in Alamosa, CO

CompHealth is seeking a locum physician with expertise in obstetrics and gynecology to join our medical team serving the Alamosa, Colorado area in Washington County. This full-time locum position offers competitive weekly compensation and the flexibility to begin as soon as needed.

As a locum OB/GYN physician, you'll provide essential reproductive healthcare to the community while maintaining the clinical independence you value in locum practice. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a region where experienced obstetric and gynecological care is in demand.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal assessments, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up
• Provide gynecological services spanning preventive care, routine examinations, and management of gynecological conditions
• Perform operative procedures including cesarean sections, dilation and curettage, and other gynecological surgery as warranted by clinical practice
• Consult with nursing staff, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate, thorough medical documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as part of the medical team

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with current, unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in Colorado
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid DEA registration
• Malpractice insurance history and clean background screening
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
