What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver conditions
- Provide specialist consultations for acute and chronic gastrointestinal problems
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain thorough medical documentation in compliance with facility standards
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with active Ohio medical licensure
- Board certification or board eligibility in gastroenterology
- Current DEA registration
- Demonstrated expertise in endoscopic procedures and gastrointestinal management
- Strong clinical judgment and communication abilities
- Professional liability insurance coverage
- Adaptability and reliability in a locum setting
