About the Role

As a Home Health Aide with Visiting Angels, you'll provide essential, in-home care that enables our clients to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in their own homes. Working live-in means you'll form meaningful relationships with the individuals you support while enjoying the flexibility to customize your availability. Whether you're drawn to full-time commitment, part-time engagement, or on-call PRN work, we have positions suited to your circumstances. Shift lengths range from single hours to full 12-hour days, and you control which shifts you take. Evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities all receive enhanced pay rates.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support safe mobility and transfers, including getting in and out of bed
• Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day
• Help with light household tasks including meal preparation and tidying
• Remind clients of medications and appointments as directed
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care coordinator
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of care provided

Qualifications

• Current Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Clean background check and satisfactory references
• Physical ability to assist clients safely with mobility and daily tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and commitment to client care
• Ability to work independently while following care plans
