Odyssey House Louisiana is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Inpatient Services team in Broadmoor, Orleans Parish, supporting clients across all shifts within our Adult Residential Program.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Odyssey House Louisiana, you will deliver hands-on nursing support to clients enrolled in our Adult Residential Program, including both the Short-Term Care (STC) and Long-Term Housing/Intensive Outpatient (LTH/IOP) tracks. Working alongside our Medical Staff in Broadmoor, Orleans Parish, you will help coordinate day-to-day medical care and guide clients through the services available to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support to clients enrolled in the Adult Residential Program (STC and LTH/IOP).
- Welcome and orient new clients to the agency, explaining the medical services they can expect to receive.
- Assist in managing and coordinating each client's ongoing medical care in partnership with the Medical Staff.
- Facilitate access to health care services in a supportive, client-centered role.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the broader care team.
Qualifications
- Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Louisiana.
- Willingness to work across all shifts as part of a residential inpatient care environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to client well-being.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Medical Staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.
