FSQ Lab Technician – 2nd Shift

Join Jack Link's Protein Snacks as an FSQ Lab Technician on the second shift in New Glarus, Green County. This full-time position plays a critical role in our quality and food safety operations, ensuring every product meets rigorous standards before it reaches customers.

What This Role Involves

As an FSQ Lab Technician, you'll support the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality systems that protect our brand and customers. Working the 2nd shift, you'll perform hands-on laboratory testing, maintain detailed records, and contribute to our commitment to safe, high-quality protein snacks. This role requires attention to detail, technical accuracy, and a genuine commitment to food safety compliance.

Core Duties

• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis to verify product quality and food safety compliance
• Support implementation and documentation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) programs
• Assist with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) execution and documentation
• Perform GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance checks and maintain related records
• Support research and development initiatives with accurate lab data and testing results
• Participate in SQF (Safe Quality Food) program maintenance and audit preparation
• Complete and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reports
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work a second shift schedule with potential weekend coverage as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of food safety principles or willingness to quickly develop this knowledge
• Ability to accurately record data and maintain documentation
• Physical capability to perform lab duties, including standing for extended periods
• Reliability and consistent attendance
