About the Role

As an LMFT at LifeStance Health, you will deliver comprehensive mental health treatment to clients across the lifespan. Working within a team-based care model, you'll partner with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other behavioral health professionals to address your clients' clinical, emotional, and relational needs. Your expertise in family systems, couples dynamics, and individual mental health will be central to the treatment plans you develop and implement.

What You'll Do

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

• Valid Massachusetts license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent credential
• Master's degree or higher in marriage and family therapy, counseling, social work, or related mental health field
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and complex presentations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
