About the Role
As a Lab Specialist - Clinical Lab Scientist CLS at MarinHealth Medical Center, you will perform and validate clinical laboratory testing that directly informs patient diagnosis and treatment across the Marin County community. This is an on-site, full-time position working a 5x8 day shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate clinical laboratory analyses and report verified results to the care team.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to established quality standards.
- Follow quality control and regulatory protocols to ensure reliable, compliant testing.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow lab professionals to support timely clinical decisions.
- Document findings thoroughly and troubleshoot discrepancies within your specialty.
Qualifications
- Current and active California Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification, plus any additional certifications relevant to this specialty.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to perform reliably in a fast-paced setting.
