About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential business process outsourcing organization seeking Korean-English interpreters in the Philippines. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity for skilled language professionals who want flexible work with steady income. We handle the screening and submission process so you can focus on showcasing your interpretation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Answer interpretation calls professionally while adhering to established interpreter code of conduct
• Render accurate concepts and meanings between Korean and English, avoiding omissions or additions
• Master industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical contexts
• Explain cultural concepts when necessary to prevent miscommunication, with appropriate permission
• Complete internal professional training programs
• Maintain communication with your assigned team leader and report as needed
• Demonstrate excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in both English and Korean
• Minimum 6 months of interpretation experience preferred
• 90% English proficiency level
• Strong understanding of interpretation protocol and conventions
• Ability to work independently from a home office environment
• Technical setup: steady wired internet connection, USB wired headset, Windows 10 or Mac computer
• Immediate availability to begin work after onboarding
• Depending on requirements, you may need to complete language testing and background checks
