Infrastructure – Citrix Specialist (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential diagnostics technology organization in their search for an Infrastructure - Citrix Specialist to join their global IT operations team. This is a remote position based in Poland, offering the chance to manage critical infrastructure that supports healthcare operations worldwide.

Our client operates in the life sciences sector, developing solutions that enable faster, more reliable patient diagnostics. Their IT infrastructure supports operations across multiple regions, and this role is central to maintaining their desktop virtualization platform.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the global Citrix desktop virtualization platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all regions
• Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd level technical support for Citrix and core infrastructure components, including comprehensive troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Drive daily operations including incident prioritization, system monitoring, KPI tracking and reporting within the global IT team structure
• Manage relationships with external Citrix vendors and partners, overseeing performance governance and handling escalations
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through platform optimization, automation, and roadmap execution while maintaining current technical documentation
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless service delivery across time zones

What We're Looking For

• Technical education in computer science or equivalent qualification
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience with IT end-user technologies and Citrix platforms
• Expert-level Citrix skills including design, implementation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Fluent English language skills for communication with global stakeholders
• Ability to travel up to 10 days per year
• Preferred: Experience working in international organizations
• Preferred: Background in medical technology or pharmaceutical environments
• Preferred: Broad experience with End-User Computing solutions such as Intune, Windows, and M365
