About the Role

As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster with MileHigh Adjusters Houston Inc, you'll investigate property losses and help policyholders navigate the claims process. Based in Paterson, you'll conduct on-site inspections, gather evidence, and develop detailed reports that inform coverage decisions. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for both experienced adjusters and motivated professionals entering the field—no prior adjusting experience is required. You'll work directly with claimants, witnesses, and insurance carriers to ensure claims are handled fairly and thoroughly.

Your Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims by inspecting property damage and loss at locations throughout Paterson and surrounding areas
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties to document loss details and circumstances
• Review supporting documentation including police reports, medical records, repair estimates, and policy documents
• Assess the extent, cause, and coverage of loss using industry standards and professional judgment
• Prepare detailed, accurate investigation reports for submission to insurance companies
