Position Summary

As an Executive Compensation, Senior Consultant at Pitney Bowes, you'll develop, analyze, and implement executive compensation programs that support our talent strategy and competitive positioning. You'll partner with leadership, human resources, and finance teams to design programs that attract, retain, and motivate senior talent while ensuring market competitiveness and governance alignment. Your expertise in compensation design, benchmarking, and incentive structures will influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate, and recommend executive compensation strategies, including base salary, bonus structures, equity awards, and long-term incentive plans
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and benchmarking to position compensation packages against peer companies
  • Analyze pay equity across the organization, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop compensation proposals and board materials that communicate program rationale and business impact
  • Support the design of short-term and long-term incentive plans aligned with corporate strategy
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and HR teams to ensure programs meet regulatory and governance requirements
  • Provide advisory expertise on compensation trends, best practices, and organizational challenges

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of compensation consulting or in-house compensation expertise, with focus on executive programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in executive compensation design, benchmarking methodologies, and incentive plan structures
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with proficiency in compensation software and Excel
  • Knowledge of compensation governance, proxy disclosure rules, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex compensation concepts for diverse audiences
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field
