What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site investigations of insured property damage
- Document and photograph loss conditions to support claim assessments
- Review policy documentation, medical records, and supporting evidence
- Evaluate insurance coverage and determine claim eligibility
- Interview claimants and witnesses to gather comprehensive loss information
- Calculate appropriate settlement amounts based on policy terms and findings
- Prepare detailed written reports documenting investigation results and recommendations
- Communicate with claimants, insurers, and other stakeholders to resolve disputes
- Maintain thorough documentation and meet all reporting deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Valid Maryland insurance adjuster's license or commitment to obtain one
