Senior Planner Full-time

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Planner Full-time for its operations in Victoria, Australia. This full-time appointment offers the chance to shape programme delivery on initiatives of genuine community significance.

About the Role

As the Senior Planner Full-time based in Victoria, Australia, you will own the planning function for high-value assignments at Turner & Townsend. The post requires clear leadership of schedule development and control while embedding planning excellence into wider project-controls practice. You will work on-site with Australian teams and clients to keep programmes realistic, transparent and aligned with commercial and technical goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and baseline integrated programmes that capture full project scope, logistics and interfaces
• Monitor live progress against the plan, perform critical-path and delay-impact analysis, and recommend recovery actions
• Coordinate closely with commercial, risk and design teams so that schedule, cost and risk datasets remain consistent
• Generate clear monthly and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and presentations for senior managers and external clients
• Facilitate multi-discipline planning workshops and secure formal acceptance of baselines and re-forecasts
• Coach junior planners and help raise local planning maturity against company and industry standards
• Ensure every schedule meets contractual, regulatory and quality requirements applicable in Victoria

Requirements

• Proven senior-level planning track record on real-estate, infrastructure or related capital projects
• Expert facility with modern planning platforms (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent)
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract programmes and translate them into workable logic
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills that keep all parties engaged and informed
• Relevant degree in engineering, construction management, project controls or a comparable discipline
• Self-motivation balanced with a collaborative style suited to matrix project environments
