About the Role
As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster, you'll investigate and evaluate insurance claims to ensure fair, accurate settlements. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact during critical moments in clients' lives, particularly as severe weather and natural disasters continue affecting communities nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Assess property damage at claim sites and prepare detailed investigation reports
- Review supporting documentation including police reports and medical records
- Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties
- Estimate repair and replacement costs using industry-standard tools and databases
- Determine coverage applicability and verify policy compliance
- Negotiate settlements and resolve claim disputes professionally
- Maintain accurate records and meet regulatory deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Valid Florida insurance adjuster license (or commitment to obtain one)
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to integrity in all interactions
- Professional demeanor when working with claimants and insurance carriers
