About the Role

As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster, you'll be the key contact for customers during critical moments, evaluating property damage, determining coverage, and guiding the claims resolution process. This role combines investigative work with client service and requires both technical knowledge and interpersonal skill.

• Inspect damaged properties and document findings with photographs and detailed assessments
• Review claim files, police reports, and relevant documentation
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties to gather information
• Determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions
• Prepare written reports and repair estimates
• Communicate with insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders professionally
• Manage multiple cases while maintaining thoroughness and accuracy

What You'll Need

You should have a background in insurance claims handling, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while delivering reliable results.

• New York adjusters license (or ability to obtain one)
• Prior experience as an insurance claims adjuster
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized approach to case management
• Own reliable transportation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
