Join EvergreenHealth Monroe as an ER Tech in Novelty, Snohomish County. We're seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Emergency Room Technician for a full-time assignment supporting our fast-paced emergency department during night shift hours (7 PM to 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week).
About the Role
As an ER Tech with EvergreenHealth Monroe, you'll be a vital member of the emergency care team, working alongside physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver rapid, compassionate care to patients in crisis. This is a hands-on position in a high-acuity environment where your technical skills, calm demeanor, and attention to detail directly impact patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation
- Perform EKGs and assist with point-of-care diagnostic procedures
- Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Transport patients safely between departments and positions within the ER
- Maintain and stock emergency equipment and supplies
- Assist nursing and medical staff with patient care procedures and interventions
- Document patient information and observations in the electronic health record
- Maintain a sterile, safe environment and follow HIPAA protocols consistently
