About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure company that is transforming how engineering teams build and test software at scale. Our client serves organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, and we're seeking an Implementation Engineer to join their growing technical team in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for trial and existing customers, guiding them through platform adoption and scaling
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to build systems, integrations, and distributed environments
• Help customers optimize their workflows and ensure smooth integration with their existing development processes
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to communicate product bugs, performance issues, and feature requests from the field
• Develop and maintain documentation to improve support efficiency and enable customer self-service
• Represent the company in community forums, Slack channels, GitHub, and industry conferences
• Drive operational excellence through metrics tracking, tooling improvements, and automation initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems (experience with Bazel or Buck/Buck2 highly valued)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript
• Solid Linux/Unix experience and familiarity with tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Track record of creating or contributing to technical documentation or knowledge bases
• Customer-centric mindset with genuine passion for helping engineering teams solve challenging problems
• Bonus: experience working asynchronously with distributed, remote teams

This role offers equity participation in addition to base compensation.
