About the Role
As a solo W2 Hopper Bottom driver, you'll run over-the-road routes hauling freight in modern, well-maintained trucks. Every unit in our fleet is a 2023 model or newer, so you can count on reliable, comfortable equipment mile after mile. Weekly pay averages $1,300 to $1,700, with a rate of $0.63 CPM and roughly 1,800 to 2,400 miles each week. Best of all, this role involves no driver load or unload duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a hopper bottom trailer on OTR routes from Mansfield, Richland County
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT and safety regulations
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on late-model equipment
- Deliver freight on schedule while keeping communication open with dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with eligibility to drive solo OTR
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required — don't have them yet? You can obtain them within 90 days, and we'll help reimburse the cost and supply the study materials
- Willingness to stay out an expected 21 to 28 days between home time
- Commitment to safe, professional driving
