Hall Monitor, HS (2026-2027 School Year)

Spring Independent School District is hiring a full-time Hall Monitor for the 2026-2027 school year at our Houston high school. This position offers the opportunity to support student safety, maintain campus order, and provide administrative assistance in a collaborative educational setting.

About the Role

As a Hall Monitor with Spring ISD, you'll help create a safe, organized school environment while supporting our administrative team. Reporting to the Campus Principal, you'll blend clerical responsibilities with student behavior support across 187 school days each year.

What You'll Do

• Monitor hallways, common areas, and student transitions to ensure campus safety and order
• Support student behavior management and assist with discipline implementation
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the principal and school staff
• Answer student questions and direct them around campus procedures and facilities
• Document and report behavioral incidents to administrative personnel
• Maintain professionalism while building positive connections with students and staff

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience working with high school students in an educational or supervisory role (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to handle behavioral situations calmly and professionally
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills for administrative tasks
• Reliable attendance and consistent presence throughout the full school year
