QC/QA Supervisor

About the Role

As QC/QA Supervisor in Detroit, you'll manage a quality team responsible for testing, verification, and compliance oversight across production operations. Working a standard Monday through Friday schedule in our GMP-compliant facility, you'll combine hands-on quality expertise with supervisory leadership, maintaining the highest standards of product quality and process integrity.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor QC/QA team members through testing protocols, quality procedures, and best practices
• Monitor manufacturing processes to verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards
• Review batch records, test results, and quality documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Investigate quality deviations and non-conformances, directing root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols
• Coordinate with production, operations, and management teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records required by regulatory agencies
• Champion quality improvement projects and process optimization initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years in quality assurance or quality control roles, with demonstrated supervisory or lead experience
• In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and quality assurance methodologies
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and develop staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a regulated manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
