Join Spring Independent School District as an Elementary Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to make a direct impact on student achievement within our Title I elementary schools while working in a blended learning environment.
About the Role
As an Elementary Interventionist, you'll partner with school leaders and classroom teachers to identify and support students who need targeted academic intervention. Working within our blended learning framework, you'll design and deliver evidence-based support strategies that help struggling learners build foundational skills and progress toward grade-level standards. This role reports to the Principal and is positioned on our Teacher Salary Scale.
What You'll Do
- Assess student learning needs and collaborate with teachers to develop intervention plans aligned to individual progress goals
- Deliver targeted small-group and individual instruction focused on literacy, numeracy, and other academic areas where students need support
- Monitor student progress through formative assessments and data analysis, adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families about student growth and intervention outcomes
- Leverage blended learning tools and digital resources to engage students and reinforce learning concepts
- Support the school's Title I initiatives and contribute to the district's commitment to closing achievement gaps
What We're Looking For
- Current Texas teaching certification or eligibility for intervention specialist certification
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary-age students, particularly those requiring academic support
- Strong understanding of reading and math intervention strategies
- Proficiency with data-driven instruction and student assessment practices
- Ability to build rapport with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Comfort integrating technology into instructional practice
Position Details
This is a full-time, exempt position with 187 contracted days per year. Compensation begins at $62,750 on the Teacher Salary Scale.
