The Hartford is hiring a Claims Consultant for our Accountants and Professional Liability team in Wyoming, Kent County. This is a full-time position within our Financial Lines Errors & Omissions Claims Group, where you'll deliver expert claims management for accounting and professional service firms.

About the Role

In this Claims Consultant position, you'll be responsible for evaluating, managing, and resolving claims within The Hartford's Accountants and Professional Liability segment. You'll work closely with clients, legal counsel, and internal teams to ensure fair, thorough investigation and timely resolution of complex coverage matters.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and evaluate claims within the Accountants and Professional Liability line of business
  • Conduct claim investigations and gather necessary documentation and evidence
  • Assess coverage, determine liability, and make claim decisions
  • Communicate directly with claimants, their representatives, and counsel throughout the claims process
  • Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and other departments to support claim resolution
