About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food delivery technology company seeking a General Assistant for their dedicated fulfillment hub in St Ouen - Palouzié. This is a 35-hour fixed-term contract (CDD) role where you'll be essential to ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced kitchen and logistics environment.

Our client operates specialized delivery-only kitchen facilities that enable restaurant partners to expand into new service areas. As a General Assistant, you'll coordinate between kitchen partners, delivery personnel, and customers to maintain operational excellence throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispatch operations by overseeing the handoff of prepared orders to delivery partners while proactively resolving any issues between kitchen teams and couriers
• Conduct daily HACCP and safety inspections to maintain strict food hygiene and site safety standards
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints, utilizing internal processes to ensure positive resolution
• Collaborate with site management to achieve key performance indicators and maintain high service quality
• Execute opening and closing procedures with the flexibility to cover multiple operational roles as needed
• Support real-time problem-solving during service periods to keep operations flowing smoothly

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Strong multitasking abilities with proven capacity to manage high volumes of information and handle multiple operational challenges simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French for effective liaison with partners and customers
• Proactive mindset with demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and act autonomously
• Solid understanding of (or willingness to become a reference for) food safety standards and HACCP protocols
• Authorized to work in France

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous operational experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment
• Safety certifications such as first aid, fire safety, or food safety (training can be provided)
• English language proficiency for collaboration with international teams
