Functional Consultant (Finance Systems / ERP Implementation)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the financial technology sector. Our talent team is building a specialized Professional Services group to support enterprise customers implementing a cloud-based spend management platform used by thousands of organizations globally.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who started in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Procurement and transitioned into ERP or financial systems implementation. If you understand financial operations because you've worked in them, and now enjoy helping organizations transform those processes through technology, we want to hear from you.

This is a customer-facing consulting role where you'll combine finance knowledge, analytical thinking, and implementation experience to guide international clients through platform adoption. You'll work remotely from LATAM, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PST, starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation projects, tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Lead functional consulting activities including discovery sessions to identify business requirements
• Understand customers' finance and procurement processes deeply
• Translate business needs into system configuration following best practices
• Advise customers on process improvements, 3-way matching rules, and automation opportunities
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and Go-Live activities
• Help customers successfully adopt the platform and maximize business value
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer experience

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing ERPs, financial systems, or SaaS platforms
• Proven experience balancing Project Management and Functional Consulting duties during software rollouts
• Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or Spend Management processes
• Proven ability to work directly and autonomously with customers during software implementations
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional system configurations
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Professional-level English (customer-facing role)

Preferred experience with one or more of:

• Medius, Oracle Financials, Oracle NetSuite
• SAP FI / MM
• Microsoft Dynamics AX / Finance & Operations, NAV / Business Central
• Infor M3, Coupa, Basware, Ariba, Jaggaer
• Power BI, SQL, or Business Intelligence/Reporting tools

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: USD $3,800–$4,200 monthly

This is a full-time contractor position, 100% remote, with hardware provided. Benefits include training and learning stipends and paid time off.
