Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential digital organization seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join their conversion optimization team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise for data-driven optimization initiatives:
- Program and implement A/B test scenarios for high-traffic e-commerce environments
- Develop and customize e-commerce websites and landing pages according to design specifications
- Serve as technical advisor to analysts, evaluating feasibility of proposed test scenarios
- Transform design templates into clean, performant code and conduct quality assurance before deployment
- Work primarily with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Vanilla and frameworks)
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a seasoned developer who can quickly adapt to existing codebases:
- Experience level: Mid to senior-level developer; junior candidates will not be considered
- Core technologies: Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap or jQuery is required
- Testing platforms: Familiarity with A/B testing tools like Kameleoon, Optimizely, AB-Tasty, or VWO is highly preferred, or demonstrated ability to learn technical platforms rapidly
- Design tools: Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop/XD for asset extraction is helpful
- Language requirement: Very strong German language skills (C1 level) are mandatory for collaboration with the analytics team
- Location: Germany; 100% remote or office-based in Berlin available
