About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential venture studio in Paris that is building multiple startups from the ground up. Our client operates as a "third co-founder" model—identifying breakthrough ideas, recruiting exceptional founding teams, and accelerating companies from Day 0 to Series A funding.

This Founder Associate Intern role sits at the intersection of venture capital strategy and hands-on company building. You won't just analyze opportunities—you'll work directly alongside founders to validate ideas, launch new ventures, and solve critical early-stage challenges across a portfolio of 2-3 companies simultaneously.

Responsibilities

New Venture Development:

• Conduct deep-dive market analysis including market sizing, competitive mapping, and customer interviews to validate which ideas should launch next
• Support founder scouting efforts to identify exceptional CEO and CTO candidates for new startups
• Help craft narratives and build pitch decks for internal investment committee presentations

Portfolio Support:

• Execute go-to-market initiatives alongside founders, including outbound campaigns, CRM setup, and lead generation
• Act as an operational "SWAT team" member—jumping in to fix processes, automate workflows, and resolve founder bottlenecks
• Contribute to building internal studio playbooks and tools that accelerate future company launches

Strategic Execution:

• Work directly with studio leadership on market opportunity assessment and venture validation
• Interface with business leaders and potential customers to transform initial concepts into scalable blueprints
• Support multiple founding teams simultaneously across strategy, sales, operations, and product challenges

What We're Looking For

• Available for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies at a top-tier business or engineering school (end-of-studies or gap year)
• At least one prior experience in venture capital, consulting, M&A, or ideally at an early-stage startup
• High-agency mindset: self-directed, resourceful, and capable of executing without detailed roadmaps
• True generalist capabilities—comfortable shifting from strategic discussions to hands-on execution like email scraping or CRM configuration
• Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with minimal structure
• Native or bilingual English proficiency required; French is a plus but not mandatory
• Exceptional performers may be considered for full-time opportunities within the studio or portfolio companies
