About This Position

As a Tax Services Manager within EY's Financial Services Office, you'll take charge of tax operations and customer reporting for enterprise clients. You'll oversee day-to-day execution of complex tax matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver actionable insights that shape client strategy. This role blends operational excellence with client-facing leadership—you'll develop client relationships, guide your team through sophisticated engagements, and contribute to EY's reputation as a trusted tax advisor in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance, reporting, and customer communication workflows for assigned clients and portfolios
• Lead and develop team members, providing coaching, quality oversight, and career growth opportunities
• Ensure timely delivery of tax services, financial reporting, and regulatory filings
• Analyze client tax positions, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic improvements
• Maintain strong client relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and grow service lines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with audit, consulting, and other business units on integrated client solutions

Skills & Qualifications

• CPA credential or equivalent tax professional certification
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience in a professional services, corporate, or governmental setting
• Demonstrated expertise in financial services tax, corporate tax, or similar specialized areas
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Advanced communication skills and ability to distill complex tax concepts for diverse audiences
• Proficiency with tax software, reporting platforms, and ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
