Position Summary

In this position, you'll deliver rigorous financial analysis, support budget management, and partner with departments across the university to ensure sound financial decision-making. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support planning and budget reviews

  • Build and maintain financial models and analytical tools to track departmental performance and institutional trends
  • Assist in annual budget development, including consolidation, review, and presentation of departmental submissions
  • Monitor financial systems, reconcile accounts, and identify areas for process improvement or cost optimization
  • Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership and departmental stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field
  • Two or more years of professional finance, accounting, or financial analysis experience
  • Proficiency with Excel, financial databases, and reporting systems; experience with enterprise financial software is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
