About the Role
This is a full-time position offering flexibility and competitive compensation. You'll work either a 4-day week (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) or 5-day week (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM) schedule, whichever fits your lifestyle. With weekly pay and compensation ranging from $28 to $32 per hour based on your experience, this role provides both stability and career growth in fleet maintenance and automotive service.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and drivetrain components on fleet vehicles
- Service and overhaul air brake systems, hydraulic brakes, and related components
- Perform scheduled maintenance and comprehensive inspections according to fleet protocols and manufacturer specifications
- Operate diagnostic equipment and shop tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain detailed work orders, service records, and parts documentation for fleet tracking
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards before vehicles return to active service
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a diesel technician, brake specialist, or fleet maintenance technician
- Solid working knowledge of diesel engines and air brake systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using shop diagnostic tools
- ASE certification in diesel engines and/or brakes, or commitment to obtaining certification
- Comfort working night shift hours in a service shop environment
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and attention to detail in all work
