Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct acceptance and maintenance electrical testing on de-energized, locked-out/tagged-out equipment
  • Record test data and field measurements with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Deploy and retrieve test equipment safely, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Maintain test equipment and work areas to professional standards
  • Draft detailed reports documenting test findings and results for client delivery
  • Assist lead technicians on project activities, contributing to project success from initiation through completion
  • Co-lead project aspects and contribute to client communication
  • Perform basic electrical measurements under guidance from senior team members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree from a technical college or trade school preferred
  • NETA certification level 2 preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of field service or electrical testing experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety principles
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional customer service ability
  • Attention to detail and multitasking capability
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces; comfortable wearing mandated PPE including arc-flash protective equipment, safety glasses, hard hat, and steel-toed boots
