Antenna Systems Integration Engineer

Espace is hiring an Antenna Systems Integration Engineer for our Integrated Antenna Structure team at our California or Texas locations. In this hands-on role, you'll manage hardware integration for next-generation low-Earth orbit communication systems.

About the Role

As our Antenna Systems Integration Engineer, you will serve as the central technical point of contact between our structural, RF, and deployment engineering teams. Your work ensures every antenna system assembly maintains structural integrity, RF performance, and deployment reliability through ground testing, launch environments, and orbital operations. You will work during regular US business hours with regular in-person presence required at integration and test events across our California and Texas facilities, including some travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware coordination across structural, RF, and deployment subsystems to ensure system-level performance
• Validate antenna assemblies meet electrical circuit integrity and RF specifications
• Confirm structural performance under ground handling and launch loads
• Verify deployment mechanism function and reliability
• Manage technical interfaces and resolve conflicts between engineering disciplines
• Lead on-site integration, assembly, and test activities
• Document system performance data and create integration reports

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with hardware integration and systems-level testing
• Working knowledge of antenna systems, RF fundamentals, or structural engineering
• Strong ability to coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
• Comfort working in hands-on, hardware-centric environments
• Availability for full-time on-site work and travel between California and Texas locations
