Experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Home Care Assistance is seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our care team in Monroe, Middlesex County. This part-time position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful, direct impact in clients' lives.

Role Overview

As a Certified Home Health Aide, you'll provide hands-on personal care and support services to clients in their homes throughout Monroe, Middlesex County. In this part-time role, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling across all available shifts, with compensation starting at $20.00 per hour for day shifts and $21.00 per hour for weekend day shifts. Mileage is reimbursed at GSA rates for client transportation. Your work enables clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes while building meaningful relationships with the families you serve.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention using proper techniques
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being
• Monitor for health changes and report observations to supervisors
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings as requested

Requirements

• Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Demonstrated experience in home care or direct personal care roles
• Ability to work flexible hours across multiple shifts, including weekends
• Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with genuine commitment to client care
• Discretion in maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries
