Caregiver (CNA/GNA)

Home Care Assistance is recruiting part-time Caregivers (CNA/GNA) to deliver direct patient care to seniors in Bowie, Prince George's County. This position offers hourly rates starting at $17.00 and the opportunity to build a meaningful career in home health care.

About the Role

As a Caregiver with Home Care Assistance, you'll provide essential support to aging clients, assisting with daily activities while promoting their independence and well-being in a home care setting. We're currently hiring for all shifts across the Bowie area.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe techniques
• Monitor and record vital signs and report significant changes to supervisors
• Support medication reminders and proper administration as prescribed
• Prepare light meals and assist with eating and hydration
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records

What We're Looking For

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Physical capability to assist with client care and mobility
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Compassion and commitment to quality senior care
