Enforcement Officer – Smith Falls

About the Role

As an Enforcement Officer with Indigo Park Canada, you'll be the face of compliance and customer care at the Smiths Falls VIA Rail Station parking facility. You'll work independently across assigned parking areas, ensuring regulations are observed whilst treating every interaction as a chance to provide helpful, professional service. This position is essential to creating a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment for all guests and commuters who use our services. You'll report to management and collaborate with our operations team to maintain the highest standards of parking management in the Smiths Falls region.

What You'll Do

• Patrol assigned parking areas and monitor spaces for compliance with parking regulations
• Issue citations and infringement notices for violations in accordance with local bylaws and company policy
• Respond to public inquiries with professionalism and clear communication
• Document parking violations accurately and maintain detailed records
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns
• Build positive relationships with regular users whilst enforcing standards consistently
• Provide information and assistance to visitors regarding parking procedures and facility rules

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Canadian driver's licence in good standing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Physical ability to walk extended distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Professional demeanour and conflict resolution skills
• Attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Willingness to learn company policies and local regulations thoroughly
