About the Role

As a Caregiver supporting Home Care Assistance (operating as TheKey), you'll deliver dependable, one-on-one in-home support to aging seniors throughout the Glen Cove area. This is a hands-on, on-site role — not remote — with shifts available across the schedule, including weekends. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are open, so you can find hours that fit your life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive personal care and daily living assistance to elderly clients in their own homes
• Support mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living with patience and respect
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as needed
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance to promote dignity and independence
• Communicate any changes in a client's condition to the care team promptly

Qualifications

• Current HHA (Home Health Aide) or PCA (Personal Care Aide) certification
• Prior caregiving experience working with seniors
• Dependability, compassion, and strong communication skills
• Availability for a variety of shifts, including weekends
• Ability to commute to client homes in Glen Cove, Nassau County
