Home Care Assistance is now hiring part-time caregivers for immediate openings across all shifts in Sunrise, Broward County. Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Home Health Aide (HHA) and make a direct impact on seniors' quality of life while earning competitive wages starting at $15.00 per hour based on your background and credentials.
About the Role
We're looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide hands-on assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. This is meaningful work—you'll help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and well-being during some of life's most important moments. Flexible scheduling accommodates your lifestyle, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours throughout the week and weekend opportunities available.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry related to client care
- Monitor and record vital signs and health changes as appropriate for your role
- Provide emotional support and companionship, building trust and rapport with each client
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and care coordinators about client needs and progress
- Follow care plans and company protocols to ensure safe, person-centered care
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA, PCA, or HHA certification (or equivalent credentials)
- Proven experience in direct caregiving—paid or volunteer
- Reliable transportation to client locations throughout Sunrise and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills and genuine patience with elderly or disabled clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
- Weekend availability is highly valued; flexibility with shift times is essential
