Executive Vice President (EVP) Finance – Insurance & Investments

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Grenada seeking an Executive Vice President of Finance to lead enterprise-wide financial strategy across insurance, investment, and asset management operations. This is a senior executive role reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO, Board, and business unit leadership to drive financial performance, capital efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across multiple subsidiaries and business units
• Provide executive oversight of financial performance for insurance operations, including premiums, claims, reserves, reinsurance, and underwriting profitability
• Drive financial leadership for investment and asset management businesses, including portfolio reporting, valuation, investment income, and performance analysis
• Monitor and optimize key financial metrics including revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow, ROE, ROIC, and return on capital
• Lead strategic capital planning, capital allocation, solvency, liquidity management, and balance-sheet optimization
• Oversee treasury operations, funding strategies, cash management, and liquidity planning
• Establish Group-wide financial governance, internal controls, accounting policies, and risk-management frameworks
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, insurance regulations, investment regulations, and statutory reporting
• Lead financial evaluation and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and market expansion initiatives
• Partner with Investment, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, and Operations functions on strategic decisions
• Drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and profitability improvement initiatives across the enterprise
• Lead finance transformation efforts including ERP modernization, automation, data analytics, and digital finance initiatives
• Maintain relationships with regulators, auditors, investors, lenders, and rating agencies
• Build succession pipeline and lead senior finance executives across the organization

What We're Looking For

Experience Requirements:

• 18–25+ years of progressive finance experience within insurance, investment management, asset management, banking, reinsurance, pensions, or diversified financial services
• Extensive experience in enterprise-level, Group, regional, or multi-entity finance leadership roles
• Previous experience as EVP Finance, Group Finance Director, Group CFO, CFO, SVP Finance, Deputy Group CFO, or equivalent senior finance role
• Strong understanding of insurance finance, investment finance, capital management, treasury, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated experience managing complex organizations with multiple subsidiaries, business lines, and jurisdictions
• Proven track record in M&A, capital raising, strategic investments, restructuring, or major transformation initiatives
• Extensive experience engaging with Boards, CEOs, regulators, investors, auditors, and senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed finance organizations

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline required
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent strongly preferred
• Additional qualifications in insurance, investments, risk, actuarial science, or financial management are advantageous
