Employer Engagement Consultant

Join Aspire Recruitment as an Employer Engagement Consultant based in Manchester, Greater Manchester. This full-time, permanent role, offering £32,500 per annum plus bonus, enables you to build meaningful partnerships with employers across the region and guide young people into employment through the UK Government's Youth Guarantee scheme.

Role Overview

As an Employer Engagement Consultant, you'll play a key role in connecting Greater Manchester's employers with young people seeking career opportunities. Working from our Manchester office—with travel to employer sites, training venues, and community events as required—you'll develop strong working relationships with organisations across the region, identify employment vacancies, and support young people through recruitment processes. This is a dynamic role blending employer liaison, relationship management, and employment support to deliver real career outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Establish and cultivate ongoing relationships with employers throughout Greater Manchester
• Identify, document, and manage job vacancies and workplace opportunities
• Attend and support recruitment events, job fairs, and employer engagement activities
• Support young people through application completion and interview preparation
• Maintain accurate records within employer and candidate database systems
• Promote awareness of the Youth Guarantee programme and available support services

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven capability in building productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of youth employment, skills development, or recruitment
• Willingness to travel regularly across Greater Manchester for meetings and events
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency with database systems and standard office software
