About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential UK-based organization seeking an Email Support Specialist to work remotely from South Africa. This is a fully remote, long-term placement supporting a UK company's customer email queue. You will be the voice of quality customer service through written communication, ensuring every ticket is resolved accurately and efficiently.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in clear written communication and building lasting customer relationships from the first interaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer emails clearly and accurately within agreed response times
- Investigate customer issues and follow them through to complete resolution
- Maintain accurate ticket records, tags, and internal notes
- Escalate complex cases to appropriate teams with clear written summaries
- Identify recurring customer problems and flag them to the team for systemic improvement
- Contribute to help articles and saved reply templates to improve team efficiency
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Proven experience in an email, ticket, or written customer support role
- Hands-on experience with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or Intercom
- Excellent written English with a natural, professional tone
- Comfortable working to response-time targets and meeting SLAs
- Reliable fibre internet connection, a working laptop, and a quiet workspace
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a UK or international customer base
- Familiarity with knowledge base or help centre platforms
- Experience managing live chat alongside email support

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: R29,000 – R32,000 per month.
