Email Marketing Specialist – B2B Technology

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology infrastructure client seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join their team in India. This is a remote B2B marketing role focused on planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns using Klaviyo.

Our client operates in the enterprise technology space, and you'll be developing campaigns that communicate complex technical concepts to business and technology audiences. You'll work across the full email lifecycle—from strategy and copywriting through automation, testing, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute B2B email marketing campaigns from concept through deployment and reporting
• Build and manage email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo
• Develop campaigns for prospects, leads, customers, partners, and other relevant audiences across different funnel stages
• Write clear, engaging, and conversion-focused email copy with compelling subject lines, preview text, and CTAs
• Segment audiences based on industry, engagement, interests, funnel stage, and customer profile
• Create newsletters, product updates, educational campaigns, promotional campaigns, and thought-leadership emails
• Repurpose long-form content, whitepapers, research, and case studies into email campaigns in collaboration with the content team
• Collaborate with sales teams on lead-nurturing and sales-support campaigns
• Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, copy, CTAs, content structure, timing, and other campaign elements
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, unsubscribe rates, and engagement metrics
• Maintain email lists, segmentation, campaign workflows, and data hygiene
• Check email rendering across major email clients and devices
• Make basic HTML/CSS adjustments to email templates when required
• Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all campaigns

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in B2B email marketing
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo including campaign creation, automated flows, audience segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and reporting
• Excellent written English and strong email copywriting skills—native English speakers preferred
• Ability to write concise, engaging, and persuasive email copy
• Understanding of B2B buying journeys and lead nurturing strategies
• Experience with audience segmentation and targeted email campaigns
• Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and ability to analyze campaign results
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS with ability to make simple changes to email templates
• Understanding of email formatting and responsive email design
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around links, formatting, personalization, and rendering
• Ability to understand technical products and communicate their value to business and technology audiences
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong collaboration skills across marketing, sales, content, and product teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, or another technical industry
• Experience marketing to enterprise technology audiences
• Experience creating sophisticated automated email sequences and nurture journeys
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems
• Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing
• Experience working with sales teams on lead generation and nurturing
• Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing and content tools

Note on Technical Skills: This is not a front-end developer role. You should be able to understand HTML email structure and make routine edits to existing templates, but strong email marketing skills are more important than advanced coding ability.
