About the Role
This full-time position offers the autonomy and work-life balance that draws physicians to private practice. You'll have input into your call schedule, clinical protocols, and practice structure—working alongside physician-owners who value both patient outcomes and professional quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and manage cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders
- Perform electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures
- Manage pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantations and programming
- Coordinate care with our cardiologists and primary care physicians across multiple specialties
- Share on-call duties under a flexible schedule designed with your input
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with board eligibility or board certification in Electrophysiology
- Valid Iowa medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease preferred
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
- Collaborative mindset and interest in teaching and mentorship
