Non-invasive Cardiology

Join UPMC Southwestern PA as a Non-invasive Cardiology Physician, practicing at UPMC Passavant in Swissvale, Allegheny County. This is a full-time position serving patients across western Pennsylvania who need expert cardiac evaluation and management without invasive procedures.

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in non-invasive cardiology, leveraging diagnostic imaging and clinical expertise to evaluate and manage cardiac conditions. This position is based at UPMC Passavant, located at 9100 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, where you'll work within an integrated health system dedicated to advancing cardiovascular outcomes in the region.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed histories and physical examinations focused on cardiovascular health
• Interpret and direct echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, and other cardiac diagnostic studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing risk reduction and disease management
• Educate patients about their conditions, lifestyle modifications, and medication regimens
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, interventional cardiologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Maintain comprehensive, timely medical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in clinical team rounds and departmental activities

What We're Looking For

• Board certification (or eligibility) from the American Board of Internal Medicine with certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively within a collaborative health system
• Professional demeanor and dedication to continuous learning and clinical excellence
