About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for newly licensed RNs to transition into professional practice within behavioral health nursing. You'll work directly with individuals receiving mental health and substance use treatment in a patient-centered setting where clinical skill, empathy, and clear communication make a real difference. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care on behavioral health units, including initial assessments, continuous monitoring, and therapeutic nursing interventions
- Partner with interdisciplinary care teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Document clinical observations, patient responses, and care activities with accuracy and timeliness
- Foster therapeutic relationships through active listening and professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues
- Support patients during stabilization, recovery planning, and crisis management
- Help maintain a safe, therapeutic unit culture that promotes healing and dignity
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited RN program (Bachelor or Associate degree) expected May 2026 through September 2026
- RN licensure or valid licensure pending in the applicable state
- Strong interpersonal and clinical communication abilities
- Genuine passion for behavioral health nursing and patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team
- Openness to learning and professional growth throughout your career
