DRUG-GEN MDSE/DEPT LEADER

Ralphs is seeking a Full Time Drug General Merchandise Department Leader to join our Barona Rancheria, Riverside County location and lead operations in one of our most important store departments.

Role Overview

In this leadership position, you'll oversee daily operations of the Drug and General Merchandise department while ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality and service. Your role is central to store performance—driving sales growth, managing team performance, and building a clean, welcoming shopping environment that keeps customers coming back.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Drug and General Merchandise department operations and team members
• Build strong customer relationships through attentive, responsive service
• Keep department and store areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Work toward and surpass departmental sales and profitability objectives
• Enforce quality standards and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Mentor, coach, and manage day-to-day team performance and development

Qualifications

• Retail management or supervisory experience, preferably in a grocery or pharmacy setting
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery
• Organizational and problem-solving skills in a high-volume retail environment
• Leadership ability and strong interpersonal communication
• Availability to work a full-time schedule including flexible hours
