About the Role

As a Head Start Intern with Lincoln Hills Development Corporation in Corydon, Harrison County, you will partner with lead teachers to nurture a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom for children birth to five. This part-time position offers up to 16 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in early childhood education through real, day-to-day classroom involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Help foster a secure, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and guiding positive behavior
• Prepare materials and contribute to lesson planning
• Provide attentive childcare and respond to the everyday needs of the classroom
